Dr. Wendy Smith is a board-certified ophthalmologist who completed fellowship training in ocular inflammation, immunology, and medical retina. She specializes in the evaluation and management of uveitis and scleritis for both adult and pediatric patients. Her clinical expertise includes a range of inflammatory eye conditions, such as HLA-B27 associated anterior uveitis, intermediate uveitis (including pars planitis), posterior and panuveitis, and uveitis related to systemic diseases like sarcoidosis or Behcet's disease. She also treats infectious uveitis and scleritis.
Dr. Smith emphasizes clear communication and collaborative care. She works closely with specialists in rheumatology, pulmonology, and infectious disease to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for patients with complex ocular inflammatory conditions.
