About Me
Dr. Wendy Huang is an ophthalmologist with specialized training in pediatric ophthalmology and cornea uveitis. She earned her medical degree from Rush Medical College and completed her ophthalmology residency at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai. Her advanced fellowships include pediatric ophthalmology at the USC-Doheny Eye Institute and cornea uveitis at the UC Irvine Gavin Herbert Eye Institute.
Dr. Huang has extensive experience working at children's hospitals, such as Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and has held academic positions including Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona. She is currently a Clinical Associate Professor at the Midwestern University Eye Institute, where she is involved in patient care and education.
She is an active member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Huang has also participated in medical mission trips to provide eye care in the Dominican Republic, Peru, and China.
