Dr. John Boden

John Boden, MD, is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Phoenix Children's. Dr. Boden has specialized training in the treatment of a wide range of eye conditions affecting children, including nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism, crossed eyes (strabismus) and double vision.

After serving in the United States Army for 24 years, Dr. Boden decided to hang up his military uniform and join the Phoenix Children's team. He enjoys collaborating with his Phoenix Children's colleagues, caring for his patients and serving the local community. Dr. Boden strives to treat every patient as if they were a member of his own family.

Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Boden is a member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He was drawn to a career in medicine because of his desire to help and serve others. When not treating patients, Dr. Boden enjoys spending time with his family, running and hiking.
