Dr. W Cies

Dr. W. Andrew Cies is an ophthalmologist serving patients in Newport Beach. His extensive training includes an ophthalmology residency at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds additional certification in cataract surgery from the American Board of Eye Surgery.

Dr. Cies's practice encompasses a range of surgical and non-surgical eye care. He provides treatment for conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, and dry eye, and performs procedures including LASIK, clear lens exchange, and reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eye area. His background includes leadership roles, having served as past chairman of the Hoag Hospital Department of Ophthalmology and past president of the Orange County Ophthalmology Society.
