Dr. Vincent Basilice

Dr. Vincent Basilice is an ophthalmic physician with over 40 years of experience in private practice. He specializes in cataract surgery and comprehensive ophthalmology, including laser vision correction. Dr. Basilice earned his Doctor of Medicine at St Louis University in 1975. After a year of training in internal medicine, he specialized in ophthalmology, where he was selected as Chief Resident.

He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. Dr. Basilice serves on the medical staff at John T. Mather Memorial Hospital and St. Charles Hospital. He is the Medical Director of TOC Eye, a SightMD practice, and sees patients at locations in East Setauket and Wading River, New York. He was honored with the Theodore Roosevelt Award and the Humanitarian of the Year Award in 2015 by the Nassau Suffolk Hospital Council.
