Dr. Usma Chatha

Dr. Usma Chatha is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized training in neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery. She offers comprehensive care for a wide range of eye conditions, including eyelid disorders such as drooping or cancer-related issues, cosmetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery, orbital surgery, and problems like dry eye, excessive tearing, double vision, optic nerve diseases, giant cell arteritis, and stroke-related vision changes.

Her educational background includes graduating magna cum laude with a BS in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh. She earned her medical degree (DO) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed her ophthalmology residency at the same institution, and pursued advanced fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology and oculoplastics at Wills Eye Hospital.

Dr. Chatha relocated to Sarasota, Florida to join the Sarasota Retina Institute, where she is committed to providing thorough, patient-centered care.
