Dr. Troy Tanji

Dr. Troy M. Tanji is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in glaucoma. He is a founding member and the Associate Medical Director of the Eye Surgery Center of Hawaii.

A Waipahu native, Dr. Tanji graduated from Mid-Pacific Institute and then completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Hawaii. He undertook his ophthalmology residency at the LSU Eye Center in New Orleans and a glaucoma fellowship at the USC Doheny Eye Institute in Los Angeles.

Dr. Tanji sees patients in his Waipahu and Kuakini offices by doctor referral. He specializes in anterior segment eye procedures, with a particular interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery.
