About Me
Dr. Tricia Lennox Thomas is a board-certified and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist at Lehigh Eye Specialists. She provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS), tube shunts, and trabeculectomies. Dr. Thomas believes in educating and collaborating with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medications, lasers, and surgery to manage the disease and prevent vision loss. She has a special interest in applying advances in genetics and precision medicine to improve glaucoma treatment.
Dr. Thomas earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She completed an internship at Crozer-Chester Medical Center, a residency in ophthalmology at Wills Eye Hospital, and a glaucoma fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Prior to joining Lehigh Eye Specialists, she served as an attending physician at Wills Eye Hospital and worked in private practices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Thomas has received the Vitals.com Patient Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award, and she has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles.
