Dr. Tracy Lu

Tigran Kostanyan, MD, is a fellowship-trained glaucoma and cataract surgeon at Wellish Abrams Vision Institute. He specializes in the medical, laser, and surgical treatment of glaucoma and offers a full range of cataract care, from standard to complex cases. Dr. Kostanyan provides advanced options such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), laser-assisted astigmatism correction, and premium refractive intraocular lenses, including toric, multifocal, and extended depth of focus designs. He also performs secondary intraocular lens placement for patients who need lens support after prior surgery or trauma. Dr. Kostanyan completed an ophthalmology residency and a glaucoma/anterior segment fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center following earlier residency training at Malayan Eye Center in Yerevan. He earned his medical degree from Yerevan State Medical University and previously worked in ophthalmic imaging research with leaders in the field. He cares for patients across Las Vegas and Henderson and is fluent in Armenian and Russian.

Dr. Helena Lam is a board-certified oculofacial plastic surgeon whose practice blends functional reconstruction with natural-looking aesthetic surgery. She cares for adults and children with conditions that affect the eyelids, brows, tear ducts, and orbit, and offers both advanced operative solutions and in-office rejuvenation tailored to each person’s goals. Her philosophy is to listen closely, plan carefully, and deliver precise results with an artist’s eye and a surgeon’s attention to safety. Dr. Lam earned her medical degree from the University of Missouri–Columbia and completed an internal medicine internship followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota. She then pursued highly competitive fellowships recognized by ASOPRS and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, including additional specialized training in Seoul, South Korea. An active researcher and speaker, she has authored peer-reviewed articles and presented nationally on topics ranging from orbital tumors to brow surgery. She also mentors trainees and supports diversity initiatives in medicine.
