Dr. Todd Fleming

Dr. Todd Fleming is an ophthalmologist at Central Florida Eye Specialists, providing comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataract surgery, glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, and refractive lens exchange. He sees patients at multiple locations in Central Florida, including Deland, Lake Mary, and Orange City.

Dr. Fleming completed his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School, following an internal medicine internship at the same institution. He earned his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and holds a bachelor's degree in art from Covenant College, where he graduated cum laude. His post-baccalaureate pre-medical coursework was completed at the University of North Carolina Asheville.

Dr. Fleming is certified in the use of the Zeiss VisuMax Femtosecond Laser and phacoemulsification simulation, and he maintains BLS and ACLS certifications. He has contributed to research published in journals such as Cell Signal, FASEB Journal, Journal of Surgical Education, and Ophthalmology Retina. He has presented at national conferences including ARVO, ASBMB, Duke Scientific Sessions, and the John Dickerson Lecture. Dr. Fleming is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
