About Me
Dr. Tiffany A. Chen is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for babies, children and teens with a wide range of visual and ocular conditions. She has particular expertise in diagnosing and treating refractive errors that cause blurry vision, strabismus (eye misalignment) and amblyopia (lazy eye). Dr. Chen partners closely with families and other pediatric specialists to support healthy visual development and provide clear, compassionate guidance at every step. Her goal is individualized, kid-friendly care that helps each child see—and thrive—at their best.
Dr. Chen’s academic interests include studying outcomes in pediatric eye disorders and improving both patient care and resident surgical education through thoughtful initiatives. She earned her MD at Stanford University, completed ophthalmology residency at UCSF, and pursued fellowship training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is an active member of national ophthalmic societies and is committed to delivering evidence-based care in a welcoming, family-centered environment.
