About Me
Dr. Theresa L. Clayton is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the Medical Director of Vancouver Eye Care Surgery & Laser Center. She provides comprehensive ophthalmology care to patients in the Vancouver, Washington area. Dr. Clayton graduated magna cum laude with majors in Biology and Chemistry from the State University of New York, Potsdam College.
She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College and completed an internship at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center. She then completed ophthalmology training at New York Medical College and a corneal research fellowship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health Sciences University. After serving as a commissioned officer in the United States Public Health Service, she joined Vancouver Eye Care in 1991. Dr. Clayton treats a range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, age-related macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She offers comprehensive eye exams and surgical procedures to help patients maintain their vision and eye health.
