About Me
Tara Golisch, MD, specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts. She makes it her mission each day to listen to her patients and treat them as if they were her own family.
Dr. Golisch received her Bachelor of Arts degree with college honors from Washington University in St. Louis and her medical degree from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for her academic achievements and commitment to leadership and service. She completed a medical internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center, an ophthalmology residency at Wayne State University’s Kresge Eye Institute, and a glaucoma fellowship at the Cincinnati Eye Institute.
Throughout her training, Dr. Golisch has conducted and presented clinical research on ocular diseases, focusing mainly on glaucoma. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, and traveling.
