Dr. Sylvia Casas De Leon

Anvesh K. Annadanam, MD is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in cornea, cataract and refractive surgery. He performs a full range of corneal transplants, refractive procedures, and routine and complex cataract surgery, and also provides comprehensive eye care. Dr. Annadanam earned his BS and MD at Johns Hopkins University, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Michigan Kellogg Eye Center, and a cornea/external disease & refractive surgery fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute.

Dr. Jason Goldberg is an ophthalmologist who focuses on the cornea and ocular surface. He cares for people with conditions such as Fuchs’ dystrophy, keratoconus, corneal infections and ulceration, neurotrophic keratitis, and complex anterior segment problems. In addition to medical management, he offers surgical options tailored to each patient’s goals and visual needs, including modern corneal transplantation techniques (DMEK, DSAEK and PKP), cataract extraction with intraocular lens placement, secondary intraocular lenses and repair of anterior segment trauma. He also provides laser vision correction options such as LASIK, PRK and PTK when appropriate. Patients describe his style as clear, collaborative and practical. He sets aside time to explain diagnoses and trade-offs between treatments so people can make confident decisions. Dr. Goldberg completed fellowship training at the University of Minnesota and earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He partners closely with referring optometrists and primary eye care teams to coordinate follow-up and preventive care, with the goal of protecting comfort and vision over the long term.

Dr. Bryan Goldman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Commonwealth Eye Care Associates, caring for patients from Henrico and the greater Richmond area. He specializes in corneal and cataract surgery, with a particular interest in helping patients who have complex medical histories safely navigate eye surgery and long-term vision care. Patients appreciate his calm, down-to-earth explanations and the time he takes to answer questions before and after procedures. Dr. Goldman completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in neuroscience at Tulane University before earning his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. He then completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at VCU Health, where he served as Chief Resident and received the 2024 Resident of the Year Award in recognition of his contributions to patients and colleagues. He is now pursuing a cornea fellowship at Commonwealth Eye Care Associates, further refining his surgical and clinical skills. Outside the clinic, Dr. Goldman enjoys exploring Richmond’s neighborhoods, running by the river, and spending time with his wife and their cat while staying active in the local community.
