Dr. Syed Husain

Dr. Ejaz Husain is an ophthalmologist at Associated Ophthalmologists in Des Moines, Iowa, specializing in refractive surgery, cataracts, and glaucoma. He has performed thousands of laser vision correction, cataract, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgeries. His expertise includes Custom LASIK and Advanced Surface Ablation as well as lifestyle cataract lens surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Husain completed his medical training at Brown University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where he also completed a fellowship in corneal, cataract, and refractive surgery. He remained on faculty at Baylor teaching anterior segment and refractive surgery before returning to Des Moines. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
