Dr. Syed Karim

Dr. Syed A Sami Karim is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in cornea and external disease at Bucks-Mont Eye Associates, where he joined in August 2019. He provides advanced medical and surgical care for a range of eye conditions, utilizing the latest techniques for corneal disorders, cataract surgery, and glaucoma management.

Dr. Karim completed his undergraduate education at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He then undertook internship, residency, and fellowship training in Baltimore, where he received the Intern of the Year and Senior Resident of the Year awards and developed an interest in teaching residents. His research has included work on laser cataract surgery and antibiotic-eluting sutures for corneal surgery.
