Dr. Svetlana Tsipursky

Dr. Svetlana Tsipursky is a comprehensive general ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience treating adults and children. She is an honors graduate of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University in Moscow, where she also completed her initial residency in ophthalmology and earned a PhD. Dr. Tsipursky practiced for a decade at the Moscow Helmholtz Research Institute of Eye Diseases before relocating to the United States.

In the US, Dr. Tsipursky completed a second ophthalmology residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and has been an American Board Certified ophthalmologist since 2000. She established Advanced Eye Care, Ltd. in 1999 and continues to provide care in the Glenview, Illinois area. Her practice offers treatment for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, and LASIK vision correction, as well as cosmetic surgical and nonsurgical procedures.
