Dr. Steven Cantrell

Dr. Steven Cantrell is an ophthalmologist and cataract specialist at Sierra Eye Group, serving patients in the San Joaquin Valley communities. He is licensed to practice in California and holds board certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology. Dr. Cantrell completed his residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University/Ochsner after earning his medical degree from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California at Davis.

Dr. Cantrell's clinical focus includes cataract surgery, glaucoma diagnosis and management, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, and laser eye surgery. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Cantrell has served as Past President of the Tulare County Medical Society and continues to make a positive impact on the vision health of his patients and the community.
