Dr. Michael Boone

Dr. Michael Boone is an ophthalmologist who has been serving the Visalia community at Eye Surgical since 1996. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology and laser refractive surgery, bringing expertise in advanced cataract and refractive surgical procedures.

Dr. Boone is certified to use excimer and femtosecond lasers for the LASIK procedure and has performed thousands of vision correction surgeries. He also performs laser-assisted, no stitch, no shot cataract surgery and is proficient in implanting multiple intraocular lens implants, including devices that correct astigmatism and near vision. In addition to surgical care, Dr. Boone sees patients with a wide variety of eye-related medical conditions.

A native of Visalia, Dr. Boone completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and earned his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his eye surgery residency at the St. Louis University Eye Institute before returning home to practice.
