About Me
Dr. Steven Edens is an eye physician and surgeon who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for patients in West Palm Beach. Raised in Oklahoma, he brings a strong academic background in biochemistry and a patient-first approach to every visit. He completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch and an ophthalmology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also served as chief resident. Board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Edens treats a wide range of ocular conditions and tailors care plans to each patient’s goals and lifestyle. In the operating room, he performs cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and pterygium surgery. Outside of clinic, he serves on the board of Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches and teaches pterygium surgery to residents through charitable initiatives, reflecting his commitment to service and surgical education.
