Dr. Steven Andersen

Dr. Steven Andersen is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has been providing comprehensive eye care at Fremont Eye Care Physicians since 1993. He offers routine and medically necessary eye health exams to evaluate and treat conditions including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, dry eyes, and macular degeneration. Dr. Andersen performs cataract removal with standard and premium lens implants and utilizes laser procedures for glaucoma, retinal, and other ocular conditions.

Dr. Andersen received his medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed his comprehensive ophthalmic residency training at Tulane University. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society. Dr. Andersen currently serves on multiple committees associated with the Washington Township Health Care District and has contributed to educational programs about sun protection and diabetic eye disease.
