Dr. Stephen Winkler

Dr. Stephen Winkler, known as Dr. Steve, is an oculoplastic surgeon specializing in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery of the eyelids, orbit, and periorbital area. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute in Baltimore, where he served as chief resident, after initial training in general surgery at Northwestern. Dr. Winkler then undertook a two-year ASOPRS approved fellowship in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His clinical expertise includes a wide range of oculofacial procedures, from functional repairs such as eyelid malposition and tear duct surgery to cosmetic enhancements like blepharoplasty and brow lifting. Dr. Winkler is dedicated to providing personalized care for conditions affecting the eyelids and surrounding structures.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Winkler enjoys making music, cycling, snowboarding, cooking, and spending time with his family.
