About Me
Stephen Goode, M.D., is an ophthalmologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. He serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where he provides comprehensive care for patients with glaucoma.
Dr. Goode brings over 30 years of experience in private practice, along with a background in glaucoma research and safety from his time as a medical monitor at Alcon Laboratories. He is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Texas Medical Association.
Dr. Goode earned his medical degree and completed his residency at UT Southwestern, followed by a fellowship in glaucoma at Massachusetts Eye and Ear. His extensive clinical and research experience allows him to offer expert diagnosis and management of all forms of glaucoma.
