Dr. Soma Agarwal

Dr. Soma Agarwal is an ophthalmologist specializing in corneal disease, external eye conditions, and refractive surgery. She has been practicing at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park since 2003, where she provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on medical and surgical treatment of the cornea. Dr. Agarwal is committed to partnering with her patients to preserve and improve their vision, using both her clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Dr. Agarwal completed her ophthalmology residency at Montefiore Medical Center - Albert Einstein College of Medicine and then pursued advanced fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the University of Southern California Doheny Eye Institute. Her practice encompasses a range of conditions including corneal transplants, dry eye disease, and laser vision correction procedures such as LASIK and PRK.

Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Agarwal enjoys staying active through Pilates, hiking, and swimming, and she finds balance by cooking with fresh ingredients from her garden and local farmers markets.
