About Me
Dr. Michelle Jangmi Kim is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in corneal disease and refractive surgery. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive eye care, with a focus on conditions affecting the cornea and external eye. Dr. Kim is fluent in both English and Korean, allowing her to effectively communicate with a diverse patient population.
Dr. Kim completed her medical degree at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. She then went on to complete an internal medicine internship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, followed by an ophthalmology residency and a cornea and refractive surgery fellowship at the Duke University Eye Center in Durham, North Carolina. She joined the Kaiser Permanente team in 2019 and is now practicing in Southern California.
As a Kaiser Permanente physician, Dr. Kim is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. She offers telehealth services for convenient access and is affiliated with the Baldwin Park Medical Center. Her clinical expertise includes the management of corneal conditions, refractive surgery, and general ophthalmology.
