Dr. Sherleen Chen

Dr. Sherleen Chen is the Director of the Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Consultation Service at Mass Eye and Ear. She provides a full range of eye care services, from routine examinations to the management of complex ophthalmic diseases, with a particular focus on cataract surgery.

Dr. Chen is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. She has served as Chief Resident and Director of the Eye Trauma Center and is actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. She also serves on committees for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and as an editor for the Journal of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.

Board-certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Chen's clinical interests include primary eye care and cataract surgery.
