About Me
Dr. Sheila Borboli-Gerogiannis is an ophthalmologist at Mass Eye and Ear who specializes in cataract surgery and corneal disease. She is an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and serves as Site Director for Mass Eye and Ear in Longwood. As a member of the Comprehensive Ophthalmology and Cataract Consultation Service, she treats a wide range of ophthalmic conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Borboli-Gerogiannis provides ophthalmologic exams for patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Survivorship Clinic and participates in clinical trials at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. She coordinates the Cataract Surgery Database for the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Service and is actively involved in medical education, focusing on training residents in cataract surgery.
