Dr. Shareef Ahmed

Dr. Shareef Ahmed is a board-certified ophthalmologist and one of only a handful of dual fellowship-trained retina and glaucoma surgeons in the world. He specializes in the treatment of complex vitreoretinal diseases, including those that occur alongside primary or secondary glaucoma. His expertise covers a range of surgical techniques and medical management for these challenging conditions, with a focus on preserving vision and preventing blindness.

Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in advancing the field through his research, having presented at international meetings and authored several works in national peer-reviewed journals on topics such as surgical techniques, eye infections, and new ocular diseases.
