Dr. Shaena Choi

Dr. Shaena Choi is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Coastal Eye Associates, with extensive experience in advanced cataract surgery, including multifocal and toric lens implants, as well as LASIK/PRK and oculoplastic surgery. She treats a broad spectrum of eye conditions such as glaucoma, retinal and vitreous diseases, and provides pediatric eye care.

Dr. Choi earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship at New England Medical Center in Boston and her ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester – Strong Memorial Hospital. She remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Texas Medical Association.
