About Me
Dr. Ore-Ofe O. Adesina is a board-certified, ophthalmology-trained neuro-ophthalmologist who evaluates and treats patients with vision problems related to the nervous system. As a surgical neuro-ophthalmologist, he performs functional oculoplastics and orbital surgeries in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as adult strabismus surgery.
He is an associate professor of ophthalmology and clinical associate professor of neurology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston, and serves as the medical director and director of neuro-ophthalmology for the Ruiz Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. He is known for his exceptional patient interaction, taking the time to diagnose complicated conditions, and helping individuals understand their treatment options.
Dr. Adesina works in collaboration with multiple specialists including neurosurgeons, neurologists, ear, nose, and throat specialists, endocrinologists, and neuroradiologists to provide care for conditions such as optic neuritis, ischemic optic neuropathy, pseudotumor cerebri/idiopathic intracranial hypertension, thyroid-related eye disease, and vision problems after stroke or tumors. He speaks English and conversational Spanish.
