Dr. Amina Malik

Dr. Amina Malik is an Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgeon practicing at Methodist Eye Associates. She specializes in surgical and reconstructive procedures involving the eyelids, eye socket, tear duct, and upper face, addressing both functional and cosmetic concerns for patients.

Dr. Malik completed her medical school and initial training in Cincinnati, Ohio, before moving to Houston in 2014 to join Houston Methodist Hospital. She holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology with Weill Cornell Medical College and the Hospital Institute for Academic Medicine at Houston Methodist, where she contributes to education and research.

Her clinical and academic work is supported by extensive research, with over 20 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters published. Outside of her professional practice, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and traveling.
