Dr. Seema Patel

Dr. Seema R. Patel is an ophthalmologist at Freehold Ophthalmology, specializing in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery. She joined the practice in August of 2016, bringing six years of experience from New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Dr. Patel provides a range of surgical and medical eye care for patients.

She performs cataract surgery, various corneal procedures, and glaucoma laser treatments. Dr. Patel diagnoses and treats a spectrum of eye conditions, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Temple University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident, followed by a fellowship in cornea, external diseases, and refractive surgery at Emory Eye Center. Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
