Dr. Sean Edelstein

Dr. Sean Edelstein is a corneal surgeon specializing in laser refractive surgery, including LASIK and PRK, as well as corneal transplantation and cataract surgery. He serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at Saint Louis University and has been practicing ophthalmology and performing LASIK in the St. Louis and Metro-East Illinois areas for more than 15 years. Dr. Edelstein also sees patients in private practice with Quantum Vision Centers and serves as Assistant Medical Director of the Mid-American Transplant Eye Bank.

Dr. Edelstein is known for his friendly, empathetic demeanor and is passionate about achieving excellent clinical outcomes for his patients. He regularly performs inspections of eye banks across the country to help ensure safe and high-quality corneal tissue is used for transplantation.
