Dr. Scott Gardner

Dr. Scott Gardner is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with an emphasis on cataract and laser procedures. He is known for taking time to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, so patients feel informed and confident in their care.

Dr. Gardner’s clinical work includes cataract surgery, laser-based treatments, and complete eye exams, with particular focus on glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration. He also incorporates the latest advances in care, including micro-invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) when appropriate.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Gardner completed ophthalmology residency training at the Medical University of South Carolina’s Storm Eye Institute. He joined Eye Consultants of Atlanta in 2016 and practices in Fayetteville and Newnan.
