About Me
Dr. Sara J. Krachmalnick is a neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for adults with vision changes that arise from the brain, optic nerve, or eye-movement pathways. She partners closely with neurology and neurosurgery colleagues to clarify diagnoses, explain next steps in plain language, and create treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and daily life. Patients appreciate her calm, thorough manner and clear guidance through complex testing and imaging.
Before joining The University of Kansas Health System Eye Center, Dr. Krachmalnick completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Washington University, ophthalmology residency at the University of Kansas, and medical school at the University of Missouri. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and welcomes new patients in Prairie Village.
