About Me
Dr. Sean Gratton is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist at Sabates Eye Centers, serving patients in the Kansas City area. He specializes in neuro-ophthalmology, a field that addresses visual problems related to the nervous system.
Dr. Gratton earned his medical degree with honors from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in internal medicine and neurology residency at Georgetown University Hospital. He further honed his skills with a fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, where he also served as an instructor in the Department of Ophthalmology.
His clinical focus includes botulinum toxin treatment for conditions such as blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm, and chronic migraines. He also manages the visual complications associated with multiple sclerosis. Dr. Gratton is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and his peer-reviewed articles have appeared in prominent journals.
