Dr. Niespodzany is active in community service, volunteering at the Volunteers in Medicine clinic in Springfield and performing cataract surgery for patients with complex health needs. He also travels to Coos and Douglas counties to expand access to specialty eye care. Dr. Emily Armstrong is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care for adults in Roseburg. She graduated from Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at UC Davis Medical Center. Dr. Armstrong cares for a wide range of conditions and is skilled in cataract surgery, working closely with each patient to explain options and create a plan that fits their goals and lifestyle. She also collaborates with subspecialty colleagues when advanced oculoplastic or retinal care is needed, helping patients navigate treatment smoothly from evaluation through recovery.
