He further honed his expertise through retinal fellowships at the Beetham Eye Institute-Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston, Massachusetts, and in Inherited Retinal Diseases and Ophthalmic Genetics in Boston. These advanced training programs equipped him with specialized knowledge in managing complex retinal disorders, including those with genetic components. His training at the Joslin Diabetes Center emphasizes diabetic retinopathy management, enabling him to address this prevalent condition effectively.
