About Me
Samantha Roland, MD is an ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Born in South Korea, she immigrated to San Jose, California, where she grew up. After attending college on the East Coast and living there for many years, she moved to Colorado with her family, who enjoy the mountains. Dr. Roland is dedicated to treating a variety of children's eye conditions, including cataracts, eye crossing (strabismus), droopy eyelids, eye shaking, blocked tear ducts, and other issues, as well as adult strabismus. She takes the time to assess each patient's needs, explain treatment options, and partner with them to achieve the best possible outcomes. For her, educating patients is paramount to ensuring they understand their care and can work together as a team.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Roland is busy with her family. She is married and has three children, and she supports their hobbies while managing her own interest in raising tropical plants since moving to Colorado. Her personal background and commitment to patient education make her a compassionate and thorough provider. She is currently accepting new patients and practices at Kaiser Permanente in Colorado, where she provides care in English.
