Dr. Sagar Patel

Dr. Sagar Patel is a dedicated ophthalmologist specializing in retinal and vitreous conditions. He provides expert care for patients with complex eye diseases, ensuring they receive the highest quality of treatment. Dr. Patel is known for his compassionate approach and commitment to his patients, having demonstrated his dedication by staying in New Orleans to assist understaffed hospitals in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate degree with highest honors, graduating summa cum laude from Youngstown State University. He then earned his Medical Doctorate from Northeast Ohio Universities College of Medicine, where he scored in the 97th percentile on his national board examination. His training includes an internship and residency in ophthalmology at Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery.
