About Me
Dr. Ruidi Wang is an ophthalmologist who cares for patients with a focus on cataract evaluation and surgical treatment, comprehensive eye care, and personalized lens selection. He works with patients to choose intraocular lens options that match their vision goals, including specialty implants such as toric and multifocal lenses when appropriate.
Dr. Wang earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and previously completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Hawaii Internal Medicine program as well as ophthalmology training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He also holds an undergraduate degree from Stanford University. In addition to patient care, he serves as a clinical assistant professor with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine. Patients often appreciate his thorough explanations and step-by-step approach, especially when planning cataract surgery and discussing lens choices.
