About Me
Dr. Rosemarie M. Brueggeman is an ophthalmologist who believes in being an active listener and compassionate partner for her patients' ocular health. She provides care for a range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and retinal disorders.
Dr. Brueggeman earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her ophthalmology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where she served as chief resident. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. In addition to her clinical practice, she participates in clinical research studies and helps train medical residents at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Dr. Brueggeman specializes in small incision cataract surgery with advanced lens technology, laser-assisted cataract surgery, and the latest medical, laser, and minimally invasive treatments for glaucoma.
