Meet Dr. Ronald N. Gaster

Dr. Ronald N. Gaster is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist serving patients in Beverly Hills and Orange County, California. He treats a wide variety of eye conditions, including diseases of the cornea such as keratoconus and Fuchs’ dystrophy, cataracts, pterygia, dry eyes, and trauma. Dr. Gaster offers the latest technologically advanced surgeries and treatments, specializing in blade-less, All-Laser LASIK and SMILE refractive procedures. He is an international expert in Corneal Cross-Linking (CXL) for corneal conditions and uses advanced femtosecond laser technology for cataract surgery and astigmatism correction. For dry eye, he offers modern treatments including IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and LipiFlow.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Gaster is a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA and the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at UC Irvine, where he has trained hundreds of residents and corneal fellows.
