Dr. Ronald Caronia

Dr. Ronald M. Caronia is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology. He has been in practice for over 25 years and sees patients at the Rockville Centre and Oceanside offices. Dr. Caronia offers a range of treatments including primary vision care, diabetic eye care, and comprehensive glaucoma management, from medical therapy to advanced surgical options such as laser procedures and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Caronia completed his fellowship in glaucoma at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and serves as an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra University. He has published articles in ophthalmology journals and has spoken nationally on glaucoma topics.
