About Me
Dr. Robert K. Hutchins is a retina and vitreous surgeon who has been caring for patients in the Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana region since 1987. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of vitreo-retinal conditions, including complex retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, macular pucker, macular degeneration, ocular histoplasmosis, retinal vascular disease, and posterior segment trauma.
Dr. Hutchins serves as an Associate Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he teaches retinal surgery and runs the Retina Service. He completed his medical degree at the University of Illinois and received advanced fellowship training in retina and vitreous surgery at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.
