About Me
Dr. Robert Ewing is an ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery and glaucoma treatment. He has extensive experience in modern refractive cataract surgery, using advanced technologies to achieve optimal visual outcomes tailored to each patient's needs. Dr. Ewing performs minimally invasive cataract procedures, including foldable lens implants, and manages complex glaucoma cases.
Dr. Ewing completed a glaucoma fellowship at California Pacific Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Stanford University. Before joining Siskiyou Eye Center, he served as a regional glaucoma expert for the Kaiser-Permanente Medical Group and was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Stanford, where he taught residents. His background includes a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine and a degree in biochemistry from Rice University.
