Dr. Robert Baldwin

Dr. Robert C Baldwin is an ophthalmologist specializing in retinal and vitreous disorders. He has been practicing as a retina-only surgeon for over 15 years, serving patients in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Baldwin served as Chief Resident during his residency at the University of Virginia and completed advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor in Ophthalmology.

Prior to joining Erie Retinal Surgery, Dr. Baldwin founded a successful retina subspecialty practice within a general ophthalmology group. He joined the practice in 2001. His professional focus is on the medical and surgical management of conditions affecting the retina and vitreous gel. Dr. Baldwin earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University and completed both his residency and fellowship at the University of Virginia. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
