About Me
Dr. Robert A. Kitei is a pediatric ophthalmology and children’s eye specialist at Bethlehem Eye Associates, where he serves as Section Chief of St. Luke’s University Health Network. He provides medical and surgical care for children’s eye problems, including routine eye exams, blocked tear ducts, lazy eye (amblyopia), and crossed eyes (strabismus). He also treats adult patients with strabismus and double vision.
Dr. Kitei earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital and Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia.
Dr. Kitei is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus. He has surgical privileges at St. Luke’s Anderson Surgery Center and the Center for Specialized Surgery.
