About Me
Dr. Richard Davidson is an ophthalmologist at UCHealth Sue Anschutz-Rodgers Eye Center in Aurora, Colorado. He specializes in the treatment of a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, corneal disease, dry eyes, and uveitis. Dr. Davidson is experienced in advanced surgical techniques such as small incision no-stitch cataract surgery, bladeless laser-based cataract surgery, corneal transplants (partial and full thickness), and LASIK vision correction surgery. He also treats eye cancers and performs ophthalmic oncology procedures.
Dr. Davidson believes in treating the whole person, taking every aspect of a patient's health into consideration during diagnosis and treatment. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and takes time to listen to concerns and explain treatment options. His research interests include ultrathin corneal donor tissue for DSAEK procedures, new intraocular lens technology, and innovative treatments for dry eyes.
