Meet Dr. Rebecca Grunbaum Bobo

Dr. Rebecca Bobo is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on cataracts, glaucoma, retinal conditions, and dry eye syndrome. A native of Jensen Beach, Florida, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Biological and Medical Sciences with Honors from the University of Florida through the Junior Honors Medical Program. Her dedication to patient care and community service was recognized with Presidential recognition during her undergraduate years and induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in medical school.

Dr. Bobo received her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida in 2003 and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Georgia in 2007. She brings extensive clinical experience to her practice, having served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Montreal College of Optometry before joining Florida Vision Institute in 2013. Her surgical expertise includes advanced cataract surgery and the use of advanced technology lenses.
